Notaries are State Agents

I went to get some documents Notarized today, and oddly I didn’t know if a Post Office would do notarization or not. I check with google, and low and behold, because the Post Office is a Federal Agency, and The Notary are State agents, the Post Office isn’t allowed.

This is actually a huge clue as to how jurisdiction works.

Federal typically deals with CORPORATIONS, and CORPORATIONS only.

While on the State level, they can’t go in between as a mediator. As a Moor I’ve never had problems getting documentation notarized, however I didn’t know why the PO doesn’t notarize, but now we do! 😉
